I'm staring at the screen of my phone wondering why the camera on my drone is spinning repeatedly in circles. We're standing on the side of the road somewhere in the middle of Montana taking shots of this beautiful lakefront cabin (from 100 meters above). A message flashes across the screen: "ENGINE MALFUNCTION." As I attempt to regain control, I glance up just in time to watch a small object wiz past and SMACK off the water. I look down: "CONNECTION LOST." I look back up in utter disbelief. My close friend and road trip compatriot Garrett asks, "Is that it?"
